Slash, the legendary top hat-wearing former lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, July 10, and was praised by bad boy actor Charlie Sheen, who also dissed frontman Axl Rose.
Slash, 46, is the first musician who was ever part of the rock group to receive such an honor. He was the lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses between 1985 and the mid-1990s and left the group amid a feud with singer Axl Rose, who remains the sole original member. The two are not on speaking terms.
