'Sister Wives' baby born: Polygamist Kody Brown welcomes 17th child (Photos)
Kody Brown and his fourth wife Robyn, stars of the TLC reality show "Sister Wives," recently welcomed their first baby together.
Robyn Brown, 33, gave birth to their son, Solomon, on Wednesday, October 26, at their Las Vegas home around 2 a.m., TLC said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com. Her husband, a 43-year-old advertising salesmen, has 13 children with his three others wives. Robyn Brown has three other children from a previous relationship.
"Sister Wives," which showcases Kody Brown's life with his family, premiered in September 2010 and drew controversy over its premise. It is currently on its third season. Robyn Brown's home birth will be shown on the November 27 finale. "Sister Wives" airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
Kody Brown is legally married to only his first wife, Meri. Last year, he was investigated for felony bigamy but did not face charges. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.
The family moved to Nevada following the inquiry. In July, the family filed a federal lawsuit in a bid to have polygamy decriminalized in Utah.
