Shia LaBeouf is seen in this paparazzi video posted on YouTube in late October 2010. (Photo courtesy of youtube/user/WorldOfWin) Celebrity photographer Mark Wilkins says Shia LaBeouf recently tossed a cup of coffee at him after he started snapping shots of the Transformers 3 star at an outdoor coffee shop in Washington, D.C. and adds he thought the actor was "looking around for someone to take his picture."

The actor, who was filming the movie in the city, has not commented. A video of the incident, which took place on Tuesday, was posted on YouTube and has gone viral.

In the clip, LaBeof, clad in sunglasses and a red shirt, is seen leaving a coffee table, swinging his backpack over his shoulder, running across a street, throwing a cup of coffee at the back of a man with a camera and then sprinting ahead of him.

"I was taking his picture and he looked up a couple of times and I saw on his face that he was getting a little angry," Wilkins told the radio station Hot 99.5. "I started to walk away and the next thing you know, hes running at me and throws the coffee at me. Didn't say a word. It was pretty cold."

"Maybe he wants his privacy," Wilkins added. "When you're a star, there's no time out. If you never want to be noticed, stay in your room and put on a hat. He clearly looked like Shia LaBeouf. He had no hat on. He had no disguise on. He's in the middle of the street and I was watching him for about five minutes before I took his picture and he was looking around for someone to take his picture."

Wilkins also posted on his Twitter page a photo of LaBeouf looking ahead as he sat at the coffee shop.

"Shia LaBeouf was spotted outside drinking coffee this afternoon, after i took this pic he thru his coffee on me," he said.

Wilkins told Hot 99.5 that he did not visit the Transformers 3 set after the incident, adding: "I left him alone because I thought it might be a little awkward if he saw me."
