Selma Blair: I haven't lost any baby weight yet
Selma Blair gave birth six weeks ago and the actress said she hasn't lost a single pound since welcoming her son Arthur.
"I actually haven't lost any weight since the day I left the hospital," Blair told to Us Weekly on Wednesday. "I still weigh the exact same number. I haven't really been focusing on that at all, because I've been running around to different things like Toronto [International Film Festival] and Venice [Film Festival]."
The 39-year-old actress still looked glowing as she promoted her latest film, "Dark Horse" at the Venice Film Festival, wearing a tight emerald green Roland Mouret dress and Salvatore Ferragamo pumps to a photo call for the film.
"I am not fabulous," the actress joked to E! News at New York Fashion Week. "It is a mess of Jell-O all over my body. I'm relying on beautiful clothes to mask what is happening to my body. And no, I have not lost any baby weight yet. Any. I'm only six weeks after birth, [but] now I'm at the point where I can exercise, so I will. I will start Pilates again and Bodyline, and I have a trainer. I've been following Alicia Silverstone's diet stuff too."
Silverstone's vegan cookbook "The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight, and Saving the Planet" was released in 2009. The book offers a gradual conversion to a vegan lifestyle.
Blair welcomed her first child, son Arthur Saint Bleick on July 25. She brought her son to Venice for the festival, while her boyfriend, fashion designer Jason Bleick stayed home.
"Off to Venice for Dark Horse with Baby Saint. St. Christopher protect us. Daddy, we will see you back home soon. Love. SB." Blair wrote on Twitter last week.
"Dark Horse" follows a man in his 30's who still lives with his parents and falls for an equally immature woman. The film also stars Christopher Walken, Mia Farrow and Justin Bartha.
Blair rose to fame after appearing in the 1999 film "Cruel Intentions" opposite Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon. She has also appeared in movies like "Legally Blonde," "The Sweetest Thing" and the "Hellboy" franchise.
