Selena Gomez cancels two shows after mother suffers miscarriage, report says
Selena Gomez has cancelled two weekend shows due to a family emergency, according to reports, her mother has suffered a miscarriage.
According to E! Online, The 19-year-old singer's mother Mandy Dawn Cornett suffered a miscarriage yesterday.
Late last month, Gomez announced that Mandy and her stepfather Brian Teefey were expecting their first child together, on her Instagram account, posting a photo of the couple, who got married in 2006.
Gomez also expressed her excitement over the pregnancy last month.
"Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news," Gomez wrote on Instagram on November 25. "My mommy's carrying my baby brother or sister :) I'm the happiest girl in the world!"
