Sean 'Diddy' Combs gets in car crash, complains of pain
Sean "Diddy" Combs was involved in a car crash in Los Angeles on October 24.
The music mogul complained of pain but was not transported to the hospital, according to a police report obtained by OTRC.com. Combs was the passenger in a Cadillac Escalade when another vehicle turned left in front of the Cadillac and the two vehicles collided on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Photos taken at the scene of the crash by TMZ show the front-end of the Cadillac smashed in.
Combs sought his own medical attention, according to the report. He also wrote on Twitter, "Woah... that was a close one!"
On October 25, his rep told E! News in a statement, "Sean Combs sustained multiple injuries in yesterday's car accident including to his neck, ribs and collarbone. He is currently receiving treatment for these injuries from his physicians and would like to thank all of his fans for the outpouring of support that he has received since the accident."
Combs has won three Grammy Awards. His 1997 debut album, "No Way Out" was certified seven times platinum and was followed with several successful albums including the 1999 release "Forever," "The Saga Continues..." in 2001 and "Press Play" in 2006.
He formed the musical group Diddy - Dirty Money in 2009 and they released their debut album, "Last Train to Paris" in the same year.
Aside from his musical ventures, Combs launched clothing lines like Sean John and "Sean by Seam Combs," has a movie production company and two restaurants. In 2012, Forbes magazine estimated his net worth at $550 million, which would make Combs the richest figure in hip hop.
