Scott Bakula set to open Screen Actors Guild Awards with a toast

Actor Scott Bakula, who stars in "Men of a Certain Age" but is likely best known for "Quantum Leap," is set to open the 17th annual Sceen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday with a Champagne Tattinger toast, according to a release by executive producer and director Jeff Margolis.

The award show, which is set to air live on 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on TNT and TBS from Los Angeles, will include a star-studded roster of presenters like Robin Wright, Jason Bateman, Jon Hamm, Nicole Kidman, Jeremy Renner, Taye Diggs, Tina Fey, Dennis Haysbert, Susan Sarandon, Donald Sutherland and Sofia Vergara.

They will be joining previously announced presenters Alec Baldwin, Jeff Bridges, Tim Conway, Rosario Dawson, Josh Duhamel, Angie Harmon, Eva Longoria, Cory Monteith, Amy Poehler, Hilary Swank, Betty White and SAG President Ken Howard.

According to the press release, the Champagne Taittinger toast tradition will be celebrating its eleventh year toasting to film and television at the award show.

SAG Award nominations are made by the votes of a 4,200 randomly selected members of the Screen Actors Guild union, but the winners are determined by the full membership, which was 120,000 actors in 2007.
