Christopher Chaney, a Florida man who hacked into the personal online accounts of Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera and more, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Monday, December 17.
U.S. District Judge S. James Otero sentenced Chaney in Los Angeles to 10 years in federal prison for cyberstalking 60 victims, OTRC.com has confirmed. The U.S. government was asking for just shy of six years. The judge went above the guidelines because he believes Chaney is a threat to the community at large and the victims in the case.
