Scarlett Johansson laughs about leaked nude photos on 'Late Show' - See video
Scarlett Johansson is looking back at her nude photo scandal with a laugh.
"Somebody stole my nudie photos," the actress told David Letterman during her appearance on "The Late Show" on December 12, which can be seen below.
"They were out there for all the world to see. Which was, uh, unfortunate, really," she added before chuckling. "I don't know why I'm laughing. It was terrible."
Naked photos of Johansson hit the Web in late September. Johansson later claimed the photos were originally sent to her then-husband Ryan Reynolds. They quickly circulated and helped spur an FBI investigation dubbed "Operation Hackerazzi."
The FBI investigation led to the arrest of suspect Christopher Chaney. Authorities say the Florida man hacked into email accounts of celebrities, including Johansson, Mila Kunis and Christina Aguilera, and obtained data from them illegally.
Chaney was indicted on federal charges of accessing protected computers without authorization, damaging protected computers without authorization, wiretapping and aggravated identity theft. He faces up to 121 years in prison if convicted. He made his not guilty plea on Tuesday at a Los Angeles court hearing and a trial has been set for December 27, according to the Associated Press, which carried the report.
Chaney pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, November 1.
"I understand personally how you're looking at it and the guy could be in prison for 100 years or so," Letterman said. "On the other hand the way to look at it is a lovely thing for mankind -- but it's illegal is the point."
"It was extremely creepy," Johansson said. "My password was constantly changing for months and months and I kept thinking why is my password always changing."
She added, "So it meant the guy was there constantly, constantly, every 20 seconds. I don't know he was sitting there all pasty and sweaty and pervy and weird."
Johansson was on the show to promote her upcoming film "We Bought A Zoo" with Matt Damon. The film hits theaters on December 23. Check out Johansson's interview below.
