Scarlett Johansson and Russell Brand to present at 2011 Academy Awards
It was announced on Monday that actress Scarlett Johansson and actor/comedian Russell Brand will present at the 2011 Academy Awards set to air live on ABC on February 27 at 8 p.m. ET.
The "Iron Man 2" actress is currently filming "We Bought A Zoo" with Matt Damon and is known for her work in "Lost in Translation" and "Match Point."
Meanwhile Brand, who is married to pop star Katy Perry, is gearing up for the release of the "Arthur" remake with Helen Mirren and will lend his voice to the animated feature "Hop."
Others set to present at the ceremony, set to air live on ABC on February 27 at 8 p.m. ET, are current nominees Nicole Kidman, who as also an Oscar recipient, and Annette Bening, former winners Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges, Sandra Bullock, Tom Hanks and Marisa Tomei, former nominees Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Oprah Winfrey and former Academy Awards host Hugh Jackman.
Among the scheduled performers are Gwyneth Paltrow, who will sing "Country Strong" by her latest film by the same name, Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore, who will perform "I See the Light" from the animated film "Tangled," Randy Newman, who will sing his song "We Belong Together" from the animated movie "Toy Story 3" and A.R. Rahman and Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine, who will perform "If I Rise" from the film "127 Hours."
This year's Oscar ceremony is set to air live on ABC from the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Feb. 27, 2011. Check out a full list of Oscar nominations.
