Sarah Palin's son Track welcomes daughter with high school sweetheart, report says
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's son, 22-year-old Track Palin recently welcomed his first daughter with new wife, Britta Hanson, a report says.
According to People magazine, who referenced Palin biographer Joe McGinniss, the newlyweds welcomed daughter Kyla Grace Palin on August 7.
The high school sweethearts got married in May in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, not far from the Palins' hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. The couple reportedly moved next door to the former vice presidential candidate in 2010.
The Palin family never officially confirmed Hanson's pregnancy, but the 21-year-old posted photos of her baby shower on her Facebook page. Hanson was once roommates with Track's younger sister, Bristol, who famously became a teenage mother during Sarah Palin's vice presidential campaign. Both Bristol and Track Palin appeared on the TLC reality show "Sarah Palin's Alaska" in 2010.
Track Palin, who is an army reservist, spent a year deployed in Iraq with the Army. He plans to take courses at the University of Alaska, where Hanson is a nursing student.
