Sarah Palins show on TLC lands premiere date; Network confirms Kate Gosselins appearance

Kate Gosselin and Sarah Palin to go camping for TV

It was announced at the annual Television Correspondents Association press tour that Sarah Palins Alaska, an eight-part travel series about Alaska hosted by Palin, will premiere on TLC on November 14. The network also confirmed at the press tour that Kate Goesslin and her brood of eight will appear on the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

TLC President Eileen ONeill said at the press tour that the Palins, "Graciously shared their Alaska with the Gosselin family." O'Neill also added, "It's going extremely well. It's become clear it takes a special individual to thrive in Alaska."

Back in July, In Touch magazine reported, "Sarah, Kate and the kids will go camping," adding that Sarahs father, a retired science teacher, and brother, a third-grade educator, will "conduct a hands-on natural history lesson for 9-year-old twins Mady and Cara, and 6-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Collin, Leah, Hannah and Alexis."

Celebrity gossip site INFDaily.com had posted photos of Gosselin and her childrenat the Alaska zoo and at a store in Anchorage, which is about 50 miles from Wasilla, where Palin lives.

Gosselin shot to fame about three years ago with her series Jon & Kate Plus 8. It was canceled in 2009 after two years due to her divorce from husband Jon. Gosselin and her children appear on a series of new TLC specials called Kate Plus 8 and two have already aired. She is also due to host another TLC series, A Twist of Kate, this summer.

The series is to be executive-produced by Emmy-winning reality show veteran Mark Burnett of Survivor fame .
