Sarah Drew of 'Grey's Anatomy' is pregnant
"Grey's Anatomy" actress Sarah Drew is expecting.
The 30-year-old, who plays Dr. April Kepner on the show, is pregnant with her first child, Drew's spokesperson confirmed to People magazine. It will be the first child for Drew and her husband Peter Lanfer. The baby is reportedly due in January.
Drew is the second "Grey's Anatomy" cast member with a growing family. Actor Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart announced in early July that they were expecting their second child. The two have a 1-year-old daughter, Billie Beatrice.
Dane's spokesperson told OnTheRedCarpet.com on Wednesday, July 20, that the 38-year-old actor entered a Los Angeles treatment facility voluntarily "to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus."
Dane plays Dr. Mark Sloan, aka "McSteamy" on the ABC medical drama series "Grey's Anatomy," which aired its seventh season finale in May.
"He reports back to work next week," Dane's spokesperson added. "Business as usual."
