Sandra Bullock granted a restraining order against stalking suspect
On Friday, a Los Angeles judge granted Sandra Bullock a three-year restraining order against Thomas James Weldon - a man who has a history of stalking the actress, reports The Associated Press.
Weldon traveled across the country after being released from a mental hospital to try and meet the Oscar-winning actress. The order protects Bullock, her soon-to-be adopted son Louis, and the children of Bullocks ex-husband, Jesse James.
"It's obvious that this fixation on her has not changed despite seven years in the hospital in Tennessee," Bullocks attorney Ed McPherson said. The actress first got the restraining order against Weldon in 2003. The restraining order expired in 2009 because Weldon was held in a mental hospital in Tennessee.
In June, Weldon allegedly appeared at a house the actress has in Wyoming saying he drove there to meet The Blind Side star. On Tuesday, he was committed to a Wyoming mental hospital indefinitely.
