Salma Hayek appeared alongside Antonio Banderas in a strapless, leather, dark orange Gucci dress on Wednesday, May 11, at a 2011 Cannes Film Festival event to promote their film "Puss in Boots."

The animated "Shrek" spinoff is set for release on November 4 and also stars Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris. Banderas reprises his role as the title character as Puss in Boots while Hayek voices the part of Kitty Softpaws. The new film tells of the events leading up to the swashbuckling cat's meeting with Shrek.

Hayek's billionaire husband, Francois-Henri Pinault is the CEO of PPR, a French company that owns Gucci. The 44-year-old actress married him in 2009. They have a daughter, Valentina, who was born in 2007.
