Sabrina Bryan talks about her shocking 'Dancing With The Stars' elimination - See video
Warning: Spoiler Alert! Sabrina Bryan appeared to be on the path to the mirrorball trophy on "Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars" after her first run on "Dancing With The Stars" during season 5 with Mark Ballas had been cut at the six week mark.
She and "All-Stars" partner Louis Van Amstel had a solid run during the show's Country week and the pair was one of only two couples to nab a perfect 30 for their Rumba on Monday. However, Bryan's time on the show once again ended with a shocking elimination during the sixth week.
The former "Cheetah Girls" star talked to OTRC.com after her elimination and explained what she loved about competing again, what she found overwhelming and whether or not she'll keep dancing.
"It was incredible. Just to be on this cast in general was awesome," Bryan said about her experience on the "All-Stars" season. " It's like a dream come true to be back on 'Dancing With The Stars' and wear all the glitz and the glam and learn all the amazing choreography so it was incredible."
Her partner had nothing but praise for Bryan, especially for their performance on Monday.
"I was so proud of Sabrina. We've had such a journey in six weeks. It was amazing. It got cut short. I must say, I'm a little shocked," Van Amstel said. "I did not see this come but at the same time, everyone puts their heart on the line and no one wants to go home but every week someone has to go home."
"Unfortunately, it happened in week six but we did say to each other last night, 'If it happens today we go out on a high' and we're so proud of that part," He added. "And it was amazing last night. I mean, I don't shed a tear unless something real happens and it was amazing."
When Bryan was asked what she was going to take away from her time on "Dancing With The Stars," the 28-year-old actress said, "The experience, absolutely and more so I think -- obviously finding Louis in my life and I've known him for years not but not as close as we are -- but more than anything the love from the fans has been overwhelming."
"I'm excited for what's to come and I'm so proud of what we've done," she added.
Is there dance in Bryan's future?
"I sure hope so," she said.
Van Amstel told her with a smile, "There better be! There better be!"
