Demi Lovato has been "quietly dating" 36-year-old actor Ryan Phillippe for a few months, according to E! News.

A source told the entertainment news site that it was "hot and heavy" for a while, but things cooled down a bit when Phillippe's ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp gave birth to a 2-week-old daughter Kai, who may be his baby and which reportedly threw the 18-year-old "Sonny With a Chance" actress "for a loop."
