Russell Crowe may have put the truth out there ... on YouTube.
The Oscar-winning actor's Twitter page on Tuesday featured a Tweet linking to a video showing a timelapse of photos of what appears to be a red, beaming object in the sky, above trees. The YouTube clip's caption states, "UFO? Time Lapse Photos Outside RC's Woolloomooloo Office (THESE ARE REAL!)." It was posted on by user "ParallelUniverse1234," whose account was created the same day.
The film "Les Miserables" is based on the hit musical and stars Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert, Anne Hathaway as Fantine, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Isabelle Allen as young Cosette, Eddie Redmayne as Marius, Samantha Barks as Eponine, Aaron Tveit as Enjoras, Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter as the the Thenardiers and Colm Wilkinson, Broadway's original Valjean, as the Bishop of Digne.
Check out photos from the movie, which hits theaters on Christmas Day - Dec. 25, 2012.
Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe may be appearing side by side in one of the year's most highly-antipated films, "Les Miserables," but Jackman says that he owes Crowe for some of his other big roles.
The actor, who is largely known for his role as Wolverine in the cult comic franchise "X-Men," told Entertainment Weekly that thanks to "Gladiator" actor Crowe's generosity, he was able to nab two of the biggest roles of his career.
Russell Crowe and wife Danielle Spencer are at the center of a report which claims the couple has separated.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Crowe, 48, and Spencer, 43, are no longer together and the split was said to be amicable. A spokesperson for Crowe had no immediate comment when asked by KABC-Television, OTRC.com's parent company, about the report.
Russell Crowe had quite the water adventure around the start of Labor Day weekend.
The 48-year-old actor and a friend went kayaking off the coast of the Long Island area of New York on Saturday and lost track of time and became disoriented as it became darker. They headed to the nearest shore on Huntington Bay, located about 10 miles away from where they set off, and called the U.S. Coast Guard for help.
The first glimpses of "Man of Steel," the latest film to feature the story of Superman, hit the web on Saturday, July 21, in the form of two teaser trailers.
While the footage in the two teasers are identical, with scenes of Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) hitch hiking and working on a fishing boat, the voiceovers are different. One features the voice of Kevin Costner, who plays Kent's adoptive father Jonathan Kent, while the other features the voice of Russell Crowe, who plays Kent's biological father Jor-El. Both trailers can be seen below.
The first images of Russell Crowe in costume as Jor-El, the character he plays in the new "Superman" film, "Man of Steel," have surfaced.
Celebrity photographs, posted on the website of the UK newspaper The Daily Mail, show the 47-year-old actor on set in Vancouver wearing what appears to be a long, dressy robe with armored shoulder pads and a long, red cape. Crowe sports floppy hair and a trimmed, silver beard and mustache and smokes a cigarette.
