'RuPaul's Drag Race': Meet the contestants of season 3
Last week, RuPaul stopped by the OnTheRedCarpet.com office to chat up the third season of his reality show "RuPaul's Drag Race," which premieres on Monday at 10 p.m. on the Logo network.
OnTheRedCarpet.com also got a chance to speak with 11 out of the 12 contestants from "RuPaul's Drag Race" at a recent premiere event for the show. Check out some of the inside scoop they gave about what it takes to compete.
"In order to be a successful drag queen, you need to have a little bit of bitch in you," contestant Manila Luzon said. "We didn't have a mega bitch, unless it was me. I guess we'll see. We'll see."
Another contestant, Mariah, added that with the show comes a thrilling competition. "I love competition. I love the battle. The thrill of the hunt," Mariah said. "All the girls gave me a run for my money. I enjoyed it. Did you bring it? That's the only way I know how to do."
So how does this new season measure up or even top the previous seasons? Alexis Mateo says, "Season three is more glamorous, more beautiful, more polished, more professional than the last two seasons."
It also helps when there are wild card contestants, like Mimi Imfurst, who says, "I'm outrageous. I'm over the top. I don't follow no rules."
Check out what a few of the other contestants told OnTheRedCarpet.com in the video above.
