Robert Pattinson's 'Water For Elephants' trailer hits the web
The first trailer for Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon's Depression-era drama "Water For Elephants" hit the web on Wednesday.
In the film, which is based on a novel by Sara Gruen, Pattinson plays a young man named Jacob Jankowski who was studying to be a veterinarian, but drops out of school and joins the circus to take care of the animals. He falls in love with Witherspoon's character, an equestrian star in the circus named Marlena Rosenbluth, who is married to the abusive animal trainer August Rosenbluth.
Witherspoon recently told MTV that her costar Robert Pattinson is "such a great guy from a great family."She added, "That's the thing that's so funny. He's not really this bad boy; he's just a great guy and really worked hard on 'Water for Elephants.'"
"Water for Elephants" also stars Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz as Witherspoon's abusive animal trainer husband. The film is set for release on April 15, 2011. Check out our photo gallery for the film.
