Robert Pattinson to present at the 2011 Golden Globes
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced on its Twitter page for the Golden Globes Tuesday that "Twilight Saga" heartthrob Robert Pattinson will be among the celebrities presenting at the Golden Globes ceremony airing Jan. 16, 2011. He'll be in good company with fellow Brit and show host Ricky Gervais.
Matt Damon will also be on the program to present Robert DeNiro with the Cecil B. DeMille Award. New "American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez will also be hand at the award show to perform presenting duities according to the Twitter stream.
Gia Mantegna, a 20-year-old actress and daughter of actor Joe Mantegna, has been named Miss Golden Globe 2011 for the ceremony.
Previous honorees named Mr. or Miss Golden Globe include Rumer Willis, the daughter of actors Bruce Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Melanie Griffith, who is the daughter of actress Tippi Hedren.
