Rob Kardashian gains 'DWTS' lead, feels like he's on a 'high cloud'
Rob Kardashian says he feels like he's on a "very high cloud" after taking the lead in the final week of "Dancing with the Stars."
The 24-year-old brother to reality star Kim, who sat in the audience on Monday night's performance show, and two-time champion Cheryl Burke, 27, received 27 out of 30 from the judges for their Waltz and a perfect 30 out of 30 for their Freestyle during the 10th performance episode of season 13 of ABC's hit celebrity ballroom dancing series (read recap) on Monday. The pair ended the night in first place, taking the lead in the final show before the final elimination.
"I'm on a, you know, very high cloud right now," Kardashian told OnTheRedCarpet.com after the performance. "I definitely didn't expect that. I mean, we got a perfect score in the finals with the freestyle. I loved the routine from the get-go but I did not - I still didn't expect a perfect score. We've never gotten that, so to get that score in the final, it's just crazy. I can't even believe it."
Kardashian's partner Burke went on to describe the evening.
"That's what this freestyle should be all about - showcasing my celebrity, and making him look the best that he can possibly look," Burke added.
The pair earned the top score of the evening with a combined score of 57 out of 60. Remaining contestants Ricki Lake and partner Derek Hough were close behind with their score of 54 out of 60, tied with J.R. Martinez and partner Karina Smirnoff, who earned 54 out of 60 as well. The final results show will take place on Tuesday, November 22 and one celebrity pair will win season 13 of "Dancing With The Stars."
"This show has taught me that you can do anything if you put your mind to it," Kardashian added.
