Ricki Lake opened up about her recent elopement, giving some credit to "Dancing With The Stars" for her decision.

"'Dancing With The Stars' was such an experience where I felt like I was a princess twice a week," Lake told ABC's "The View" on Tuesday. "I got to get all the attention and the accolades and I didn't need that on my wedding day... I really wanted it to be about us."

Ricki Lake and Christian Evans have eloped, less than a year after they announced their engagement.

This is the second marriage for Lake, known best for her long-running talk show that docused mainly on relationships. The 43-year-old and Evans, a 40-year-old jewelry designer, met through a friend of hers and have been dating since the summer of 2010. In August 2011, Lake announced they were engaged.

Actress and talk show host Ricki Lake thinks she may have found her wedding dress for her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Christian Evans.

"I may have found a dress," Lake told People magazine at the Trevor Project's "Trevor Live at the Hollywood Palladium" fundraising event on Sunday. "I have someone who has been looking for me. It's vintage."

Ricki Lake says she's "back and better than ever" as she prepares for the season finale of "Dancing with the Stars."

The 42-year-old actress and television host and three-time champion Derek Hough, 26, received 27 out of 30 from the judges for their Cha-Cha-Cha and 27 out of 30 for their Freestyle in week 10 of ABC's hit celebrity ballroom dancing series (read recap). The pair ended the night tied in second place out of the three remaining pairs.

Rob Kardashian says he feels like he's on a "very high cloud" after taking the lead in the final week of "Dancing with the Stars."

The 24-year-old television personality, and brother to reality star Kim, and two-time champion Cheryl Burke, 27, received 27 out of 30 from the judges for their Waltz and a perfect 30 out of 30 for their Freestyle in week 10 of ABC's hit celebrity ballroom dancing series (read recap). The pair ended the night in first place, taking the lead in the final show before the final elimination.

Ricki Lake is going to make her return to the talk show world in 2012, according to reports.

Lake ReTweeted a report by Broadcasting & Cable magazine which said "The Ricki Lake Show" has been picked up by stations in major markets like New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.
