Reese Witherspoon says at 34 she feels 'much sexier'
In a new interview with Glamour magazine, Reese Witherspoon dishes on her Hollywood loves, her career, and why she's feeling sexier at age 34 than she ever did in her 20s.
"I think as a woman, you get older, you feel more confident in your sexuality," Witherspoon tells the magazine. "I am calmer; I know who I am. And as a result, I feel much sexier."
"There's always going to be somebody younger or sexier," she adds. "That's why I like to say, and it's become my famous line, 'Funny doesn't sag.'"
The actress also talked briefly about her seven year marriage to Ryan Phillippe and relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal. "I don't want to disparage any of the other relationships that I've had that were meaningful and wonderful," she says, "But what I'm finding out is that it's very comfortable to be with somebody who understands my career, but doesn't do what I do. "
That "somebody" is Jim Toth, an agent at top Hollywood talent agency Creative Artist Agency (CAA). The two recently dodged engagement rumors in October.
About Toth, Witherspoon says, "He's a great guy. He's wonderful."
Witherspoon, who is gearing up to star in a new romantic comedy called "How Do You Know" with Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson, says she's a big fan of other female actress who dominate the genre. "I love all my fellow female romantic queens, like Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner and Katie Heigl," the actress said. "I also think that the questions romantic comedies ask about men and women are universal."
Overall, the actress says she's satisfied with her life, "I've got a lot of love in my life. I've got great friends. I have two great kids whom I make pancakes for every Sunday. I'm very blessed."
