'Real Housewives of Atlanta's Phaedra Parks is pregnant

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks and her husband, Apollo Nida, are expecting their second child together.

The couple confirmed the news to People magazine on Friday, December 28. Parks showed off her baby bump while posing in a bathing suit on a beach in the Bahamas in a photo submitted to the magazine. She is vacationing there with family and friends.

Parks, an entertainment attorney, and Nida, a certified personal trainer, wed in 2009. The two have a 2-year-old son named Ayden.

Parks joined the cast of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" in the show's third season. Parks and Nida recently teamed up to release their first fitness DVD called "Phine Body."

The news comes on the heels of a time of grief for the couple. Earlier last week, Parks explained to fans in her Bravo blog for the reality show that both she and Nida lost their maternal grandmothers in recently.
