Randy Travis, 54, still in critical condition after stroke (Update)
Country singer Randy Travis remains in critical condition two days after he underwent brain surgery following a stroke, OTRC.com has learned.
The 54-year-old Grammy winner was hospitalized earlier this week and treated for congestive heart failure. He suffered a stroke and underwent brain surgery.
"Mr. Randy Travis has been under heavy sedation since he came out of surgery late Wednesday night, July 10th, and is resting comfortably," his rep said in a statement to OTRC.com. "He is still in critical condition. His family continues to ask for prayers and support."
Travis' doctors have said he was in "excellent health" three weeks before his hospitalization.
