Rachel Zoe, assistant Brad Goreski part ways

Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and her longtime assistant Brad Goreski are calling it quits beginning Oct. 1, according to People.

The two are parting ways because Goreski is looking to branch out on his own.

"I love Rachel and shes taught me everything I know," he said. But theres a point where either I do it now or Ill never know what its like to spread my wings and soar.

Goreski said he broke the news to Zoe a month ago, and though there were tears and hugs galore, there was no hint of bad blood.

He did this with such class and elegance. And I get it. I just told him, Im here for you always, Zoe said.

Zoe's reality show, The Rachel Zoe Project, is on its third season on Bravo. The stylist said that she'll be searching for a new assistant - but Brad's shoes will be hard to fill.

I dont want to hire somebody for the purpose of the show, we just got lucky. No ones ever going to be Brad to me," Zoe said.
