Rachel Weisz turns heads in strapless Dior gown - hit or miss? (Poll)
Rachel Weisz turned heads at the New York premiere for her 2012 action thriller "The Bourne Legacy" on July 30, dazzling in a classy black gown.
The actress, 42, donned a long black Christian Dior Couture gown from the fall 2012 collection. Weisz paired the elegant dress with a pair of bow-embellished Christian Loubouton T-strap sandals and a messy up-do. The actress carried a clutch by Pandora Domino and set off her sophisticated ensemble with a bright red lip color (See more photos from the event).
Weisz, known for her role in "The Mummy" and "The Fountain," is set to star as Marta in the action film "The Bourne Legacy" alongside Jeremy Renner. The movie, which follows the previous "Bourne" trilogy starring Matt Damon, centers on a new hero whose stakes have been triggered by the events of the previous films. The English film and theater actress is also set to star in the highly-anticipated "Wizard of Oz" prequel, "Oz: The Great and Powerful." The 2013 film will chronicle how the wizard arrived in Oz and became the great ruler, and is adapted from the L. Frank Baum novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."
Mila Kunis plays the witch Theodora, while Weisz portrays her character's sister, Evanora. Michelle Williams plays Glinda, the Good Witch. Kunis' character, Theodora, becomes evil after the wizard rejects her sexual advances.
