Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen photographed holding hands
Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen, her co-star in the new Woody Allen film Midnight in Paris, were recently photographed holding hands while walking in Toronto, fueling mounting speculation of a relationship.
McAdam, 33, and Sheen, 41, have not commented on the photo published in People magazine, which added the two were also seen together at a recent afterparty at the Toronto International Film Festival.Sheen, a Welsh actor who starred in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and had a recurring role on the sitcom 30 Rock, has an 11-year-old daughter with ex-girlfriend and actress Kate Beckinsale. She starred with him in the 2003 vampire film Underword and in its 2006 sequel.
McAdams is known for her roles in films such as Mean Girls and Sherlock Holmes. A 2011 sequel to the hit film that starred Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law as the British sleuth is in the works, although McAdams' return as Irene Adler has not been confirmed officially.
Midnight in Paris, set for release in 2011, also stars French actress Marion Cotillard and Adrien Brody and tells of a family who travel to the city for business, while an engaged couple among them must "confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better," according to its tagline.
