Prince William talks about baby George, holds hawk

Prince William says his newborn son Prince George is "pretty loud" and "very good-looking," in remarks made during his first official engagement following the baby's birth three weeks ago.

The 31-year-old Duke of Cambridge and heir to the British throne spoke in Welsh at an agricultural show in Anglesey in Wales on Wednesday, Aug. 14, according to Sky News. At the event, he also got acquainted with a Harris Hawk during a falconry demonstration with birds of prey (see PHOTOS of Prince William and the hawk).

"Catherine is sorry that she cannot be here today at the County Show, but she and George would have loved to have been here," the prince told the crowd. "He's pretty loud but of course very good-looking!"

"I thought search and rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding," he added. "But looking after a three-week-old baby is right up there."

William and wife Kate Middleton, known officially as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, welcomed baby George, their first child and third in line to the British throne, on July 22 (check out the royal birth certificate). William was granted a two-week paternity leave from his work as a Royal Air Force rescue helicopter pilot in Anglesey.
