Prince Harry is '100 percent single,' not dating Pippa Middleton
Prince Harry says he is "100 percent single" despite recent reports linking him to Pippa Middleton amid his recent split from on-again, off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
"Pippa? Ha! No, I am not seeing anyone at the moment," Harry, 26, told guests at the Live Nation VIP lounge backstage at the Hard Rock Calling concert at Hyde Park, London on Friday night, according to the UK newspaper The Daily Mail.
"I'm 100 per cent single," he added. "I'm working a lot at the moment, so dating and watching TV are the last things I have time for."
Harry and Davy attended his brother Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton in April. The British press said that Harry and Middleton's sister Pippa got along well at the event and spent time together weeks later. In early June, it was reported that Harry and Davy broke up against dating on and off for the past two years.
Also this month, the British press said that the prince, a trained Apache attack helicopter pilot, may return to Afghanistan, where he served with the British military for several weeks, beginning in 2007. His spokespeople have not confirmed it will happen but said Harry will "deploy wherever the army chooses to send him."
Meanwhile, the prince is planning a vacation, the Daily Mail reported, quoting him as saying on Friday: "I am hoping to get a holiday in August. I haven't been to South Africa in a long time, so maybe I'll go there."
Prince William, 29, is himself preparing for a trip to the United States and Canada in July with his new wife, now known as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
This marks their first North American trip as a royal couple. The two plan to tour Canada from June 30 to July 8, with stops in Ottawa, Ontario, Montreal, Quebec City and Calgary, Alberta. On July 8, William and Kate will fly to Los Angeles and are expected to depart on July 10.
