Pippa Middleton's 'gun' scandal: Kate's sister photographed with driver holding ... pistol?
Pippa Middleton, 27, has raised some eyebrows after she was recently photographed in an Audi convertible in Paris sitting next to a driver brandishing what appears to be weapon in broad daylight and may see herself part of a police investigation.
In the picture, posted on the website of the UK tabloid The Sun, the unidentified man in question is seen pointing what looks like a semi-automatic pistol straight at the photographer's camera behind the vehicle as Middleton, sister of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, sits inches beside him in the front seat, wearing sunglasses. Two other men are in the back seat. The four have not commented.
The incident occurred on Sunday, April 15. Tensions in the French capital have been high in recent weeks following the killing of three Jewish children, a rabbi and three soldiers in the city of Toulouse by an al Qaeda-inspired gunman in March.
The UK newspaper The Daily Mail reported that Middleton is set to be questioned by Paris police about the incident. If the weapon was real, the driver could be sent to jail for several years. If it was fake, he could spend two years behind bars.
