Philip Seymour Hoffman mourned at funeral by family, celebs
The late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was mourned by family members and former co-stars like Meryl Streep, Amy Adams and Cate Blanchett at a funeral held in Manhattan on Friday, Feb. 7.
The funeral was held at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola and Hoffman's longtime girlfriend, Mimi O'Donnell, appeared at the funeral with two of the couple's three children, daughter Wila and son Cooper. See photos from the funeral here.
Other celebrities who appeared at the funeral to pay their respects to the late Oscar-winning actor included Michelle Williams, Joaquin Phoenix, Marisa Tomei, Spike Lee, Diane Sawyer and her husband, director Mike Nichols, who directed Hoffman in the film "Charlie Wilson's War."
Hoffman was found dead at the age of 46 on Feb. 2 of an apparent heroin overdose in his apartment. The actor was found with a syringe in his arm and authorities found about 70 bags of heroin in his apartment, according to ABC News. The medical examiner's office has completed its autopsy and has deemed the results to be "inconclusive."
