Paul McDonald hasn't seen girlfriend Nikki Reed's films, won't watch 'Twilight'

Paul McDonald, who was eliminated from "American Idol" last week, says he has never seen any of his girlfriend Nikki Reed's movies - namely, the "Twilight" films."

Reed, 22, plays the vampire Rosalie Hale alongside stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the hit movies and recently filmed scenes for the fourth installment, the two-part "Breaking Dawn."

"Honestly, I haven't seen any of her movies and know nothing, really, about her work," McDonald, 26, told radio station KOST 103.5 FM, according to People magazine. "She's super cool, man. I think she likes me more because I've never seen any of her stuff. I'm not watching any 'Twilight' movies. I'm sorry."

Reed and McDonald first met when the "American Idol" finalists attended the Hollywood premiere of "Red Riding Hood" in early March.
