Patrick Schwarzenegger injured in skiing accident, Tweets photos
Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 18-year-old son of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, was hospitalized on March 10 after getting into a skiing accident in Sun Valley, Idaho.
However, the teen let everyone know from his Twitter account that he is doing fine after the incident.
"Little ski accident today. Some bruises and stiches [sic] down back and but [sic]," he wrote with a photo of himself on a gurney, which can be seen below. "Thanks to sun valley doctors for everything."
Schwarzenegger also Tweeted another photo showing a deep cut on his lower back. He did not mention any further details of his accident. In 2006, Arnold Schwarzenegger broke his leg in a ski accident at Sun Valley while he was governor of California.
Patrick Schwarzenegger's younger brother Christopher was injured in July after a boogie boarding accident last week left him in serious condition. He was released from the hospital a few days later and Shriver Tweeted that her son was going to be fine.
In October, Patrick Schwarzenegger joined his father in Austria to inaugurate a museum dedicated to the former California Governor and action star.
The 18-year-old famously dropped the last actor's last name from his Twitter profile and adopted Shriver's after it was revealed that Schwarzenegger had fathered a child with the family's housekeeper while he was married to the teenager's mother.
Schwarzenegger and Shriver, 55, announced their separation after 25 years of marriage on May 9. Weeks later it was revealed that he had fathered a secret child more than 10 years ago with Mildred Patricia Baena, who worked at the time as the family's housekeeper.
On July 1, Shriver filed for divorce from Schwarzenegger.
