A judge has decided that Katherine Jackson and Tito Joe "TJ" Jackson will remain co-guardians of Michael Jackson's three children.

The decision was announced on Tuesday, June 25, which also happened to mark the fourth anniversary of the singer's death. The judge reached his decision after he received an investigator's report on the children's well-being, according to The Associated Press. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff ordered the report after Jackson's daughter, 15-year-old Paris Jackson, was hospitalized on June 5 following an apparent suicide attempt.

Michael Jackson's 13-year-old daughter Paris Jackson went on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and opened up about her childhood, addressing her father's unique parenting style.

Michael Jackson was notoriously private about his three children, Prince Michael, 14, Paris, 13 and Blanket, 9, and when out in public, covered their faces with masquerade masks or scarves.

"I'm like, 'This is stupid, why am I wearing a mask?'" Paris told Ellen DeGeneres, in an episode set to air on Thursday. "But I kind of realized the older I got, like, he only tried to protect us. And he'd explain that to us, too."
