Entertainment News: owen wilson
Is Karina Smirnoff, a cast member on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," dating actor Owen Wilson?
The tabloid Life & Style recently quoted "insiders" as saying that the two have "been out a few times" and are "totally into each other." Spokespeople for Smirnoff, 34, and Wilson, 43, had no immediate comment. The report comes days before the season 14 premiere of "Dancing With The Stars," which is set to air on ABC on Monday, March 19, at 8 p.m. ET.
Owen Wilson spent several months in Paris, filming his new Woody Allen film, "Midnight in Paris" and was so taken with the city, that he's considering a move.
"I just loved living in Paris," Wilson told Chris Balish of OnTheRedCarpet.com. "I could see myself living there one day. It's a great city."
Jack Black said that what inspired him to work on "The Big Year" wasn't necessarily the comedic opportunity to play a passionate bird watcher, but the film's dealings with the competitive spirit of mankind.
"What drew me to the story and to the script was the intense competitive nature of man, even in something as seemingly insignificant and as small potatoes as bird-watching," Black said in an interview provided by Fox 2000 Pictures. "The stakes are so low -- there's no money in it, there's no glory or fame really but to be the best, there's something very funny about that and it just seems to be a tiny microcosm of the plight of man. Something resonated in that silly little endeavor."
Steve Martin might not have a passion for bird-watching like his character in "The Big Year," but the comedic actor could relate to taking a path that others don't necessarily understand.
"My character has been a very successful businessman his whole life and they're hounding him to keep going at it, to run another company and he's looking for a big change in his life," Martin said in an interview provided by Fox 2000 Pictures. "He wants to go off and do this other thing that the outsiders cannot understand, they can't understand his desire."

Larry the Cable Guy, who voices the lovable but simple-minded tow truck Mater in "Cars 2," appears to have some very lucky kids.
The comedian brought his wife Cara and son, Wyatt, 4, and daughter Reagan, 3, to the Disney-Pixar film's premiere in Los Angeles earlier this month and said that he is already thinking about what vehicle he will get for them when they turn 16.
Owen Wilson, who voices a race car in the new animated movie "Cars 2," remembers his first vehicle.
"The first car that I drove was probably... my mother had a 240-D, green Mercedes and then the first car I owned was a Chevrolet Blazer," the 42-year-old told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the film's recent Los Angeles premiere. "A blue Tahoe. My car now is silver, or metallic gray."
The five-bedroom home featured in the movie "Marley & Me," which starred Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson is on the market for $1.25 million.
The property, which was built in 1831 on 16 acres of property, is being marketed as the spot where the 2008 movie was filmed. Check out photos of the home.
