Oscar Nunez, of 'The Office,' and wife welcome baby girl

Oscar Nunez, of "The Office," and wife Ursula Whittaker have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

The 53-year-old actor and Whittaker welcomed August Luce Nunez on October 4, his rep confirmed to Us Weekly.

Nunez and Whitaker, who is also an actress, appeared together in the 2008 short, "Boob Jobs & Jesus." Whitaker also wrote, directed and produced the piece.

Nunez portrays the homosexual character Oscar Martinez on the NBC comedy series "The Office," which is currently in its ninth and final season.

The actor is also slated to portray Casey Anthony's defense lawyer Jose Baez in the Lifetime Original Movie, "Imperfect Justice."
