Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr welcome son, report says
Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr welcomed their first child yesterday, according to Us Weekly. The news has not yet been confirmed by Bloom or Kerr's representation.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor and Victoria's Secret model dated for three years before secretly getting married this July.
"I've always been open about wanting to be a mother one day, and I've always thought Orlando would be a great dad," Kerr, 27 told the Sydney Morning Herald. "I think having children and pregnancy is a part of life, I look at how models like Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio have done it and made it a part of their lives."
Orlando Bloom, 33 is perhaps best known for his role of Will Turner in the "Pirates of the Carribean" franchise but is not attached to the upcoming installment, "Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides." Bloom is set to star in the upcoming 2011 adaptation of "The Three Musketeers" alongside Milla Jovovich.
"Here's the SWEETEST GUY EVER, Orlando Bloom! And he's having a baby in jan! How amazing!!!" Bloom's co-star Jovovitch Tweeted in August.
Kerr announced her pregnancy about a week after reports said that the two had been married in July 2010. There is no word yet on what the happy couple has decided to name their newborn.
