'Orange is The New Black' stars make 'Scandal' parody (Video)
Looks like some of the stars of "Orange is The New Black" are big fans of "Scandal."
Danielle Brooks, who plays inmate Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson on the Netflix series, posted a parody of a scene from the "Scandal" season 3 premiere on her official Instagram account.
The scene in question starts off with Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) getting scolded by her father, Rowan Pope (Joe Morton), for having an affair with President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) and letting it get exposed to the press.
Brooks plays Pope in the parody, while her "Orange is The New Black" co-star Uzo Aduba, who stars as inmate Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on the Netflix series, plays Rowan. A video of the parody can be seen below.
"Our little parody of #Scandal. Shoutout to#KerryWashington and #JoeMorton for giving us life!!#Orangegladiators stand up!! #greatwriting#youhavetobetwiceasgood #fun-times #oitnb #taystee#crazyeyes," a caption for the Instagram video said.
An unverified Twitter account called @ScandalWriters, which claims to be "the official Twitter from inside the Scandal Writers' Room," tweeted to Brooks and Aduba about the parody on Oct. 8.
"This is amazing," the tweet said. "@UzoAduba @thedanieb We are HUGE fans!"
