Olivia Newton-John may star in Bollywood film

(Photo courtesy of FOX) Olivia Newton-John, a singer and actress best known for her part in Grease and most recently, a guest stint on Glee, is in negotiations to appear in a Bollywood film, which typically combine acting, singing and dancing in colorful, elaborate costumes.

"I have a Bollywood-kind-of-film that is being talked about right now, but nothing concrete," the French news wire Agence France-Presse quoted the 61-year-old actress as telling reporters at the Toronto Film Festival.

Newton-John, who was born in England and raised in Australia, was there to promote her latest film, Score: A Hockey Musical. She she plays a "New Age" mother of a young hockey player.

Newton-John played loner-turned-high school queen Sandy in the 1978 movie musical Grease and also had small parts on television. In her latest role, she played herself on the hit FOX musical sitcom Glee, during which she recorded remakes of her 1981 music video and song "Physical" with the show's villain, Sue Sylvester, played by Emmy-winning actress Jane Lynch.

Newton-John, a Grammy-winning pop singer, plans to release her 24th studio album Grace And Gratitude Renewed on September 14.
