Nina Dobrev wears black dress, pink shoes to 'Water Project' charity event (Poll)
Nina Dobrev of the CW show "The Vampire Diaries" showcased a dark and sexy real-life look on the red carpet at the recent "The Ripple Effect Benefiting The Water Project" charity event in Los Angeles.
The 22-year-old actress arrived in a black, long-sleeved, body-hugging black Monique Lhuillier dress that reached just below her knees and featured a corsette-like top with lacey black mesh. The actress completed the look with hot pink Brian Atwood pumps and Neil Lane jewelry.
Dobrev joined her "Vampire Diaries" co-stars Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham, who hosted the event for the charity, which brings attention to the billions of people in other countries who don't have access to clean water.
"It's one of the basic necessities - water, food - it's what you need to live, and so many people take it for granted," Dobrev told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "In so many places, they don't have access to clean water, or any water whatsoever, so to be able to raise money and awareness and build some wells is brilliant and beautiful."
"I think there's something really beautiful and poetic about the Ripple Effect because it's true, what one person does or says can impact so many others, and that's why all of us are here," Dobrev added. "And that's why all of us got together - to hopefully make a ripple effect, and get people excited and interested in donating and make them aware of this cause."
"The Vampire Diaries" is on hiatus and will continue its third season on Jan. 5, 2012.
