Mumford & Sons video shows Jason Sudeikis kissing Will Forte

The new Mumford & Sons video for the single "Hopeless Wanderer" features a hilarious new take on the band. Jason Bateman, Ed Helms of "The Office" and "Saturday Night Live" alums Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis step in for the band members in the music video. The actors are dressed like the band as well, donning vests, suspenders, denim and dress shirts rolled up at the elbow. The actors also pretend to play instruments as they lip-sync along to the track. Sudeikis takes lead in the video, which can be seen below. He passionately lip-syncs to Marcus Mumford's vocals. At one point Sudeikis kisses Forte and Bateman licks the tears he wiped off from Forte's face with his finger. Later on in the video, the four actors play banjos dressed in barbershop quartet costumes. A post on the band's official website announcing the music video on Aug. 5 said, "A massive pair of thumbs-up to Sam Jones for directing and his cast of young budding actors. We're sure they all have bright futures ahead of them. Much love, Winston, Ted, Marcus & Ben x." "Hopeless Wanderer" is off the Mumford & Sons album "Babel," which was released in 2012. "Babel" won Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards earlier this year and it has gone double platinum in the United States. In June it was reported that Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane had brain surgery to remove a blood clot on the surface of his brain. "It is with great joy that we can announce that Ted has been discharged from hospital and is on the road to a full recovery," the band said in a statement in June. "The surgery went well, and the excellent medical team helping him are very pleased with his progress. He has been nothing short of heroic in how he has handled the whole ordeal, and now it has been medically proved that he does indeed have a brain." Check out the video for "Hopeless Wanderer" below.
