Misty May-Treanor wants another chance on 'Dancing With The Stars' - What do you think?
Misty May-Treanor wants another shot at the mirror ball trophy.
The two-time Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist and former "Dancing With The Stars" season 7 contestant has asked fans on her Facebook page to vote for her to return to the ballroom for the show's all-star season in the fall.
May-Treanor competed on the series in 2008 after winning a gold medal at the Beijing Olympics earlier that year. Her partner was Maksim Chmerkovskiy, however, May-Treanor had to end her run on the competition series after tearing her Achilles tendon in rehearsals.
"I would love to finish what I wasn't able to when I was on the show the last time," May-Treanor wrote in a post on her Facebook page. "I wasn't voted off. I would love for my husband to see me dance and compete. I want to perform for my fans!"
May-Treanor will compete in the 2012 summer Olympics in London with Kerri Walsh, her partner from the Athens and Beijing Games.
What do you think? Would you want to see May-Treanor comeback? Vote in our poll below.
