'Miss America: Secrets Revealed' special to air on Live Well Network
The Live Well Network is set to take audiences behind the scenes of the Miss America pageant with a new special.
The network announced "Miss America: Secrets Revealed," which is a five-part special that will allow viewers to see the contestants behind the scenes leading up to the 92nd Miss America Competition in 2013.
The show, which will air January 7-11 at 8 p.m. / 7 p.m. CT on The Live Well Network, will feature host Rebecca Spera interviewing all 53 contestants of the beauty contestants -- one from each state -- about their fashion, fitness and do-it-yourself secrets.
"Our Miss America contestants are intelligent and talented young women who will proudly represent their states through living well," said Art McMaster, President and CEO of the Miss America Organization. "They give back to their communities and are such positive role models for young girls. We are truly excited to partner with the Live Well Network to bring such a fun, informative and entertaining special series to their audience."
The episodes will be 30 minutes each, and will feature behind the scenes footage as well as exclusive interviews. The segments will reveal inside tips and tricks to looking good and feeling confident, straight from the beauty contestants themselves.
"I am so excited to share these secrets with the Live Well Network audience," Spera said. "Insider tips and do-it-yourself tricks like these are what make the Live Well Network programs so strong and keeps the viewers coming back for more."
The pageant takes place on January 12 at the PH Live Theater inside of the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, and is set to air live on ABC.
