Miley Cyrus to host 'SNL,' jokes about VMAs, tongue (Video)
Will Miley Cyrus twerk on "SNL" this Saturday night?
The 20-year-old pop star, who drew controversy and FCC complaints over her racy MTV Video Music Awards performance and a semi-naked video "Wrecking Ball," is the host and musical guest on this week's episode of the NBC sketch comedy series and certainly knows how to poke fun at herself.
"Miley, that VMAs performance, how could you?" "SNL" cast member Taran Killam asks in a promo video."I know, how could I?" replies Cyrus, wearing a white leather jacket over a white bandeau top and orange and yellow checkered bottoms.
"I mean, it was too much -- the children?
"And what was I wearing?
"Don't forget about the children!"
Killam then asks her why she's always sticking her tongue out -- as seen in her VMAs performance and recent public appearances and photos. It has become the former "Hannah Montana" actress' signature look and has spurred online parodies.
"It's how I smell," she said.
"Like a snake," he replies, as she sticks her tongue out.
"Are you wearing women's deodorant?" she asks.
This will mark the second time Cyrus has hosted "SNL." Her first appearance was in March 2011, two months after "Hannah Montana" ended its run on the Disney Channel after four seasons.
