Miley Cyrus speaks out against anorexia rumors
Miley Cyrus took to her official Twitter page to squash rumors that she is suffering from anorexia.
Cyrus, who has appeared slimmer at recent red carpet events, Tweeted a photo of herself on April 8 with her nose inside a Carl's Jr. bag.
The singer and actress wrote "I can't eat it. So I'm just gonna smell the [expletive] out of it! My mouth is LITERALLY watering."
The Tweet and her slimmer appearance sparked internet rumors that Cyrus was suffering an eating disorder. However, the 19-year-old set the record straight on her Twitter page on April 10 and explained that her new look is from a gluten free diet.
"For everyone calling me anorexic I have a gluten and lactose allergy," Cyrus wrote. "It's not about weight it's about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!"
She later replied to one user, "Everyone should try no gluten for a week! The change in your skin, physical and mental health is amazing! U won't go back!"In March, the singer laughed off reports that she was engaged to boyfriend and "Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth.
"I'm not engaged," Cyrus wrote on Twitter on March 26. "I've worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to tal [sic] about! It's a topaz people!"
The actress sparked engagement rumors after posting a photo of her new manicure with a prominent sparkler on her ring finger. Topaz is the birth stone of Cyrus, who turned 19 on November 23.
