Miley Cyrus rushed to hospital after cutting finger, says: 'Curse u blender!'
Miley Cyrus was recently rushed to a Los Angeles emergency room after cutting her finger while using a blender, while her rep says she's "doing fine" after receiving stitches.
The 19-year-old actress and pop star is seen in celebrity photos, published by Us Weekly magazine, and in a video posted by Starfeine.com, walking with a bandaged hand with her boyfriend, "Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth, and grandmother, Ruth Ann, who Cyrus calls Mammy.
"She cut her finger while cooking," Cyrus' spokesperson said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com, regarding the actress' injury. "Had to get a few stitches. She's doing fine."
Cyrus later took to her Twitter page to rant about the paparazzi and to explain her cooking mishap.
"As you can tell by the horrible faces I'm making I obviously didn't know they were there. Pretty messed up following me to ER," she said, adding: "I'm all stitched up & have on a splint so I'm good. As you can tell by my expression, didn't feel so good. Curse u blender!"
Cyrus is meanwhile preparing to promote her new film, "LOL," which hits theaters on May 4 and also stars Demi Moore. Cyrus plays a high school girl named Lola who is dumped by her boyfriend and is subsequently pursued by her best friend Kyle, portrayed by Douglas Booth. Moore plays Lola's mother, Anne.
