Mike Tyson admits he used money from his Hangover role on drugs

Mike Tyson admits he used money from his 'Hangover' role for drugs In an interview on ESPN Radio in Las Vegas, the former heavyweight champion admits that he used the money from his role in the hit 2009 movie "The Hangover" "to supply my drug habit."

He added that after the film he thought, "Wow, this is going to be really good. We're going to sell this stuff on 42nd Street on bootleg and make a lot of money."

Tyson has admitted in the past that he had an extreme cocaine habit. "I'd be sitting down and drinking and doing cocaine, talking to girls, doing anything. Everything," Tyson told Sports Illustrated in July. "Then I make it home and I'm tripping out at home."

The athlete also opened up on how the accidental death of his four year-old daughter Exodus in May of 2009 helped changed his life for the better.

"I wanted a different life. I felt like I was dying," he said during the interview. "I don't know. I didn't want to live anymore. So I said, that in order to go there, I had to change my life."

Tyson reveals he became a vegan and lost 130 pounds.

"I enjoy being with my children and my wife now," he said. "That's the only thing [that] keeps me grounded."

On the horizon for Tyson is his new Animal Planet show "Taking on Tyson," which sees the longtime bird owner competing in pigeon racing. It is set to debut during Animal Planet's 2010-11 season.
