Mike Myers and wife Kelly Tisdale welcome son Spike
Mike Myers has become a first-time father at 48 -- he and his wife Kelly Tisdale recently welcomed their first child, a son named Spike.
The "Austin Powers" and "Shrek" star's rep confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com that Myers and Tisdale had a baby boy named Spike and that he is "healthy and his parents are ecstatic" over their new addition.
"Last fall, Mike Myers and Kelly Tisdale were married in a private ceremony and celebrated with family and friends," Myer's spokesperson told OnTheRedCarpet.com.
This is the Canadian actor's second marriage. He and Robin Ruzan, a comedy writer and actress who had a small role in the first "Wayne's World" film in 1992, wed in 1993 and finalized their divorce in 2007. They have no children.
Tisdale, 34, co-owns the Teany Cafe in New York City's Lower East Side along with her ex-boyfriend, musician Moby.
